We slept in our base camp near the Magalies river. This time, we decided not to put up any tents and so, the Junior Rangers slept outdoors again. For this we had to fix up some nice warm shelters. On Saturday night it rained, putting our shelters to test. We were not really expecting it to rain and our shelters were not built to keep out the little bit of rain we got. We all got a bit damp and had lots of fun trying to improve our shelters before nightfall This event taught use the importance of being prepared for anything and that the weather is unpredictable.
